Walk in knowing
exactly what to beat.

Most lifters walk into the gym guessing what they lifted last week. GymBuddy Log remembers every personal best for you and hands you today's exact target before your first set. The lifters using it are progressing every session. The ones who aren't? Still scrolling old notes.

Every week, lifters leave
progress on the table.

Not because they train wrong. Because they cannot remember what they did last time. Strength is built by beating small numbers, and you cannot beat a number you forgot.

Lost Gains
🤔
"Was it 27.5 or 30 last week?"
You pick the safe number, do the same weight as last month, and call it a workout. That set changed nothing. Same stimulus, same body.
Wasted Time
📱
Scrolling notes between sets
Your training history is scattered across a notes app, an old chat with yourself, and vibes. Finding last week's numbers takes longer than the set itself.
App Fatigue
😮‍💨
Trackers that feel like homework
Every workout app wants every set, every rep, every rest logged. That is why you abandoned the last three. Logging should take seconds, not sets.

You don't need to log every set.
You need to remember your best.

That is the entire idea behind GymBuddy Log. The app holds one number per exercise: your personal best. You only touch your phone when you beat it. Everything else, the app figures out for you.

01
Peek
Open the app before your set. It shows your best and today's exact target: "30kg × 10 → go for 11." Three seconds, phone goes back in your pocket.
02
Lift
Chase the target. One more rep than your best, or the same reps at a heavier weight. Every session has a mission instead of a vague plan.
03
Log only PBs
Beat it? Two taps, confetti, new best saved. Didn't? One tap records the attempt so the plateau coach knows when to step in. That is all the logging there is.

Small app.
Serious progress engine.

Peek before the set
Your best weight and reps for every exercise, one search away. No history to dig through, no mental math. The number to beat is just there.

Rep-range progression that thinks for you
Pick a range like 8 to 12 per exercise. Add reps session by session. Hit the ceiling and the app tells you to bump the weight and rebuild. Textbook progressive overload, zero spreadsheets.

A coach that notices plateaus
Stuck three sessions on the same best? The coach steps in with a deload plan or a rep-range switch. You never plateau silently.
🔥
Streaks that understand lifters
Week-based streaks, not guilt-trip daily chains. Showing up counts, even on days you don't PR.
🎉
Every PB is a moment
New best = confetti plus a share-ready PB card for your story. A monthly recap shows your PRs, gym days, and biggest jumps.

Never lose a PR again
Works fully offline in basement gyms with zero signal. Sign in with Google (optional) and every record is backed up and synced to any device. New phone? Everything comes back.
⏱️
Rest timer built in
Start the timer as you rack the weight. It counts your rest so you stop guessing, and your next target is already on screen when it rings. No juggling a second app.

Two lifters. Same gym.
Very different year.

TRAINING FROM MEMORY
  • Guesses last week's weight, picks the safe option
  • Repeats the same loads for months without noticing
  • Scrolls a notes app between sets to find old numbers
  • Plateaus silently, blames motivation, skips a week
  • Loses the whole history with every phone change
TRAINING WITH GYMBUDDY LOG
  • Opens the app, sees the exact number to beat, lifts
  • Adds a rep or a plate almost every session
  • Logs only PBs: two taps, confetti, done
  • Gets a deload plan the moment progress stalls
  • Every PR backed up, synced, and celebrated

Other PR trackers charge ₹300 to ₹800 a month for less than this. GymBuddy Log is free because we would rather you spend that money on protein and tell a gym friend about us. The only thing missing a PR costs you is a month of progress.

Before you ask

Is it really free? What's the catch?
Really free. No ads, no premium tier, no trial that expires. GymBuddy Log is built by GymBuddy India as part of the same mission as our coaching: help everyday Indians stay consistent. If you love it and later want a personalised plan or coaching, you know where we are.
Do I need to create an account?
No. The app works fully without signing in, and everything is stored on your device. Google sign-in is optional and only exists to back up and sync your records across devices.
Does it work without internet in the gym?
Yes, completely. Peek your bests, log PBs, run the rest timer, all offline. If you have sync enabled, it catches up whenever you are back online.
Android or iPhone?
Both. It runs in any browser, and you can install it to your home screen so it opens like a native app: on Android tap "Add to Home Screen" from the browser menu, on iPhone use Share → "Add to Home Screen". An Android Play Store version is on the way.
How is this different from a full workout tracker?
Full trackers want every set of every session, which is why most people quit them within weeks. GymBuddy Log tracks the only number that decides progress: your best. Less typing, more lifting, and the progression logic still follows proper rep-range overload.

Your next session could be a PB.
Would you even know?

It takes less time to start than reading this page did. Open it, add your first exercise, and walk into your next workout with a target.
